Elite.

The past few days I have been extremely lucky to witness one of the greatest graffiti artists of all time, HAZE. If you are not familiar with the name, HAZE has been in the game longer than most of you, including myself have been alive. One of the most highly respectable visionaries in the world of street is also one of the nicest people I have met at Stussy thus far. HAZE and his assistant Carl worked through the back pain and mental strain to create a completely, one of a kind piece of art right here on the walls of Stussy Las Vegas. I recommend if you live here or even if you don't, to come see this intricate piece of work for yourself. HAZE told me a valuable piece of advice before he left, "No matter how big you talk something up, your going to have back it up with even bigger work to ever earn real respect. Work hard kid."

Rise and Shine!

I finally got my Rising Sun. If you know me, you know that I love the rising sun. I feel it is an accurate representation of me. Warm, positive, creative, and willing to reach way out. So when I moved out of my parents house the first thing I wanted to do was mural a giant rising sun on my lack luster tan walls. With the help of my good friend, and great artist Lee Cannarozzo we flooded the thirsty walls with heaps and gobs of deep crimson paint. Overall I love it and I think you will too, if your in the neighborhood come by and check it out for yourself!

Then sun is always in my eyes.

Old School Hour

Today I was lucky enough to meet a member of one of the most prolific groups in hip hop history. Dave Jolicoeur of De La Soul came through the shop this morning and it was a real honor. Not to mention he was a really nice guy.

Constants Changing

With the weather changing so drastically this week from hot to cold it caught most people off guard. The smell of smokey rain, and the brisk wind dragging bits of dust and gravel along the bumpy asphalt. People begin to act strange and do odd things. Instead of partaking in the movement, I was scheduled to work. With all kinds of interesting people coming in the store today I could not help but feel the rain washed all these unique characters out of the walls and sewers and into our store. I could not photograph them for the fact that they might bite, but just take my word for it. Here are some shots from the day, enjoy!

Love From Ny to LV

I would like to give a big shout out to Joe of Sneaker Bistro of Long Island, Ny. Great guy with great ideas for the sneaker business. He blessed our shop and picked up the collection of our limited Stussy x Neighborhood Blazer collection. If you ever need anything Sneaker Bistro is your spot on the east coast. (631) 730 7132.

Peace Joe.

I Left My Heart In San Francisco

So, Zack, Randy, Danielle, and I set off on a plane to San Francisco on Thursday to go to the Outside lands music festival. I really went to see Radiohead, but none the less it was a good opportunity to soak up the city with good food and good friends. I would have many more pictures but unfortunatly i filled my entire camera with Radiohead's set. Therefore Randy took the majority of these pictures. We had a blast and it is safe to say there is never a dull moment in in the Fran. We saw a plethera of homeless people, crazy people, and crazy homeless people. As well as street performers, disgruntled bus drivers, wealthy families, and China Town which is, well, China Town as we all know it. As far as the concert went, waiting in the front row for Radiohead for roughly 6 hours was long and drawn out, but well worth it. It is by far the best concert I have ever seen. Granted there were 70,000 people behind me Thom Yorke and his band have a way of making you feel that you are the only one there. Truly a unique and unforgettable experience.

We walked roughly 23 miles in 4 days, we walked for days.

High Voltage

So I decided to go out with Mike and his friend Joe in town from Oregon. I was told to park at the Mirage and meet them there. When I arrived they were at the Paris (for those who don't know, the two casinos are far apart.) At that point they just told me to meet them at the Paris and I figured it would be a good opportunity for some killer photos, here is what I got. Enjoy!

There are so many lights in this town of ours.

Kat's Finally Out of The Bag

So Wednesday night we all congregated at the Palace Station, a Las Vegas staple. Not only did my very own parents meet at the Palace Station some 20 odd years ago, but it was home to a member of the front desk who went by the name Ekaterina Romanova. It was only fitting that we said goodbye to our beloved friend Kat by having a final gathering at the Palace the night before she left for home, her real home, NYC. Here are some of the pictures i snapped of the party. So Kat when you feeling down you can always check this blog :D

Kat you will be missed. These are all the people who you have touched and inspired, I speak for everyone when I say "We love you!"
